WELCOME

Welcome to our Gardening Club Rhydlewis and District Gardening Club has been around since the time of Adam and Eve. In fact, it is believed that one of our members planted and tended the very apple tree that gave rise to the pair being expelled from the garden!!

Whether this urban myth is true or not, the club is here to encourage, improve and extend the members' knowledge of all branches of horticulture. It is open to everyone and new members are all always welcome to come along.

Our activities during the year include a varied programme of talks and social events, summer garden visits, a plant sale, social gatherings/bbq and an annual open show in August.

Plant Sale at Ty'r Maes, FFarmers.

 Hello folks

Here is information about ’John’s end of season plant sale’ raising funds for NGS Charities.

The ground rules for the plant sale are broadly the same as last year, but here's a quick recap:-

Start time 1.00pm Sunday 8 October at Ty’r Maes Ffarmers SA19 8DP

On the A482 look for the yellow NGS sign 7m SE of Lampeter. 8m NW of Llanwrda. 1½m N of Pumsaint opposite the turn to Ffarmers.

Loads of plants for sale - at least twice as many as last year.

We encourage people to bring plants to swap.

We welcome donations, as we are here to raise money for NGS charities.

FREE entry and we will provide tea, coffee and biscuits – if you would like to donate a cake, they are always most welcome!

Parking on our bottom field opposite the turn to Ffarmers (weather permitting!), although the area near the house will be available for loading and unloading plants

For an appropriate donation, you can reserve your plants from the plant list below by emailingjohnhelen140@gmail.com

Collection at an arranged time or at the plant sale.

We look forward to seeing as many folks as possible on the 8th.

All the best

John and Helen
